Last Month In Photos

I can't believe it's been almost a month since I was here, talking about where we're travelling to this year. I feel like I haven't had a minute to stop and think, never mind write but since it's my birthday tomorrow and there's another busy weekend ahead I thought I'd reflect on the past month in photos.

My best friends baby shower. My wife and I made cakes, favours and had the best day celebrating our gorgeous mum-to-be with the rest of our friends.

The following week after a few drinks with friends, we ended the night playing Monopoly with prosecco and believe me, it's hard to believe how competitive three 20-somethings get.

The following week was Valentines Day and although my Wife and I don't tend to celebrate, I received a rather embarrassing bouquet of roses with a balloon to my office that day. Thanks babe.

We spent the rest of the weekend catching up on George Clarke's Old House New Home. Favourite weekend TV show, hands down.

The following week I decided to get a tattoo, nothing major or meaningful, I just thought it was super cute. Wife got a boat, or paper hat - Whatever you decide.

That Friday we went to bingo. I bagged the National and treated the girls to drinks all night because if you can't share your winnings with your friends, what can you do.

Fast forward to the next day and we were taking our mum-to-be out for afternoon tea. Afternoon tea turned into staying out for the rugby which turned into 2am karaoke yet no headache on Sunday. Bonus.

The work girls and I went out for brunch Saturday just gone to Opera in Chester. The prosecco flowed whilst we gossiped, caught up and laughed until our stomachs hurt.

The start of March came around soon enough and it was finally time to meet little Dotti who had been fighting off an infection for her first week into the world. I was so happy to have a cuddle and can't wait to watch her grow.

And this brings me to now, my birthday-eve. I mean it when I say this month has been so busy. After taking a new position and finding my feet, trying to watch The Stranger (highly recommend) and trying not to get infected (wash your hands kids) I just feel like I need to relax and that's what this weekend is all about.

Have a good one! X
